Azbil Kimmon Group's Definition of Compliance

Compliance in the Azbil Kimmon Group refers to the observance of laws, regulations, internal rules, and other rules including social norms related to business operations, as well as ethics required of businesspeople, and their activities within the organization. With regard to the ethics required of a businessperson, we have established specific standards in the azbil Group Code of Conduct, which we follow.

Azbil Kimmon Group Compliance Initiatives

Promotion of Compliance (Basic CSR)
As part of our "Fundamental CSR," we are fulfilling our basic responsibilities to society, including thorough compliance, risk management, promotion of internal controls, improvement of the workplace environment, and pursuit of the safety and security of our employees.
Compliance Committee
The Compliance Committee, chaired by the President and CEO and composed of directors and others, meets monthly to discuss important compliance-related matters.
Compliance Management System
A compliance implementation plan is formulated for each fiscal year, and continuous improvements are made based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle in accordance with the Compliance Management System.
Compliance Department Head and Compliance Leader System
We have established a Compliance Department Head and Compliance Leader System as a mechanism to promote compliance within the department. Through this system, we aim to encourage voluntary and proactive compliance efforts within each division.
Reporting and Consultation System
We have established a reporting and consultation helpline system to receive reports and consultations regarding corporate ethics.
This system is strictly enforced to ensure that the consultants are not treated unfavorably as a result of their consultations, and that personal information obtained through consultations, actions taken, etc., is protected.
