We, Azbil Kimmon, have been a pioneer in measuring instruments, including the first domestic production of gas meters. In our 120-year history, we have supported lifelines by providing a stable supply while evolving our products and services into more value-added ones.

The need to realize a smart society is increasing every day. Various results are expected in terms of carbon neutrality and other environmental considerations, as well as contributions to safety, security, and comfort in daily life.

We see these changes in the business environment in the energy supply market as business opportunities, and are creating new businesses as a data-driven service provider. Specifically, we are developing a SMaaS (Smart Metering as a Service) business that provides "smart" metering as a service by overlaying data acquired by meters with a wide variety of data, while "aiming to make all meters in the world smart".

Realization of the SMaaS business cannot be achieved by us alone. We recognize that collaboration with various players and the development of products and services are the two wheels of the road, and that we create things together with our customers.

Azbil Kimmon's Mission

We, Azbil Kimmon, as a manufacturer supporting lifelines that are indispensable to people's daily lives, pursue safety, comfort, and a sense of accomplishment for people in their daily lives and in their businesses.

Over our 120-year history, Azbil Kimmon has provided various products and services that support lifelines such as gas and water.

In 2005, we became a member of the Azbil Group (then the Yamatake Group), which we regard as our second founding. Based on the future-oriented and innovative spirit that has been the driving force behind our continued history as a meter pioneer, we will reexamine lifelines based on the original "people-centered" concept and utilize our extensive experience as a meter manufacturer to pursue security, comfort and achievement with customers in their daily lives and businesses.
