Participation in the azbil Group

In 2004, we received support from the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan (IRCJ), and in 2005 we joined the azbil Group (then the Yamatake Group), making a fresh start.

Based on the above philosophy, as a manufacturer supporting lifelines essential for daily life, we will pursue safety, comfort, and a sense of accomplishment for people in a wide range of living and business situations.

2011: Started full-scale sales of "Battery Electromagnetic Water Meter," a product born from the fusion of technologies between Azbil Corporation (then Yamatake Co., Ltd.) and Azbil Corporation.

Most of the water meter market was dominated by mechanical water meters.
azbilBy joining the azbil group, we were able to combine our accumulated technology and expertise in water meters with Azbil Corporation's technology and expertise in electromagnetic flow meters. This has enabled us to develop a new concept of water meter, the "Battery Electromagnetic Water Meter," that goes beyond conventional use.
We will continue to create high value-added products to solve problems at our customers' sites.

Now and into the future

We are acting now, at this very moment, to realize the mission of Azbil Kimmon based on the azbil Group philosophy.

We also want to make our company one that can make each and every employee proud of in society, their community, family, friends, and acquaintances.

The three thoughts of our founder, Daigen Jumonji, which are embedded in the genes of our company, the thoughts contained in the azbil Group Philosophy and Azbil Kimmon's Mission, based on the idea of "people-centered automation," and the thoughts of each of us, our employees.

In April 2012, the company name was changed to Azbil, and the group became more united than ever.
