What is “Mawarina”?
The name "Mawarina" comes from the Japanese word "mawaru," which means "to rotate.
The meter can be read with the display facing forward, no matter which direction the meter is installed.
We aimed for a meter reader-friendly design with large counter numbers and easy-to-read numerals.

Display rotates 330 degrees
No matter what direction the installation position faces, the 330° rotation allows the display to face forward anytime, anywhere.
With the conventional type, even if there is no problem with the installation direction, it may be difficult to see the display depending on the direction of the lid.
In such cases, the display can be easily rotated with one hand to turn the display in a direction that is easy to see, "No blind spot for meter reading.
The flow direction arrow on the case body makes it easy to see the flow direction no matter where the display unit is facing.
*The direction of flow does not always match the direction of the display unit when installed, so be sure to install the unit in line with the case arrows.
Convex glass display
Convex glass allows you to quickly wipe off dirt and dust collected on the top surface, and the glass is higher than the case to prevent water and dirt from accumulating.
* When wiping off the glass, do not use a file or other hard object.
Numbers are 1.8 times larger than those of conventional models, making them easier to read.
Even in dark and cramped places, the new model provides contrast with white letters on a black background as before, while the numerals are larger and clearly legible, preventing false readings.
Reflecting feedback from meter readers
A meter reader told us that "5" and "6" are similar and can be misread.
We have slanted the horizontal bar and the opening on the upper right side of the "6" to make the "6" look like the "5".
We made the difference clearer by making it and the opening at the bottom of "5" obvious.
Display
We have devised a display design that is easier to read.
- Note that the arrow indicating the direction of rotation of the pilot does not match the direction of flow.
- The type approval number ends with the year of manufacture.
Type Approval No. L147'19 - manufactured in 2019 - The type approval number is a number approved as a specified measuring instrument as stipulated in the Japanese Measurement Law and differs from the production number.
