    Azbil Kyoto Corporation is registered as a calibration service provider of JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System, a registration system for calibration service providers under the Measurement Law) for "flow rate and velocity (liquid flowmeters)" and is capable of general and JCSS calibration as well as flowmeter production.

    JCSS is a calibration service registration system introduced to ensure the reliability of high-precision measurement and quality control with the enforcement of the revised Measurement Law in 1993.
    While general calibration can be performed by self-declaration, JCSS, which is accredited by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE), is a system in which the quality system, calibration methods, uncertainty estimation, and facilities of a business operator are assessed for appropriateness in performing calibration, and the quality system is operated as specified. The JCSS is registered after examining whether the operator's quality system, calibration methods, uncertainty estimates, facilities, etc., are appropriate for performing calibration, and whether the quality system is being operated as specified, which enables the issuance of calibration certificates bearing the JCSS mark.
    Azbil Kyoto Corporation's registration as a calibration service provider for "velocity and flow (liquid flowmeters)" covers a range of 2.5 to 1200 mm in bore size and 0.002 to 5090 m3/h, with a maximum measurement capability of 0.1%. This is the widest range of bore diameters and flow rates in Japan and maintains the top level of calibration and measurement capability. In addition to being registered as a calibration service provider, Azbil Kyoto Co., Ltd. is also accredited as a certified service provider for the Global Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA)*.

    MRA refers to multilateral mutual recognition. International Mutual Recognition means mutual evaluation (peer review) among participating accreditation bodies, and the operation of accreditation bodies is based on the international standard ISO/IEC 17011, and the use of ISO/IEC 17025 as an accreditation standard is evaluated.
