Features

  1. No fear of leakage thanks to the use of a shielding plate and magnetic transmission.
  2. The totalizer display uses a direct-reading totalizer display inclined at a 45° angle, making it easy to read.
  3. 360°rotational totalizer display in any direction.
  4. Remote indication is possible.
  5. Hot water cannot enter the reduction gear section. (Bore diameter: 15 to 25 mm)
    Only the impeller is in contact with hot water, and the gear section is shielded, resulting in significantly improved sensitivity and durability.

Pulse width (ON time) at maximum flow rate

  • ・The ON time of the pulse varies depending on the flow rate because the reed switch is operated by a magnet.
  • ・Therefore, the ON time of the pulse is shortest at the maximum flow rate, as shown in the table above.
  • ・In other words, the ON time will be longer under normal operating conditions.
  • ・The ON time for 15 to 40 mm is calculated at 10 L/P, which is the shortest ON time.

Operation

The reed switch of model GD2A (2-wire transmitter) operates as shown in the figure below with a magnet built into the hot water meter.

  1. The pulse width (time it is ON) varies depending on the flow rate.
  2. If the hot water meter stops when the reed switch is in the ON state, the reed switch will remain ON as long as there is no hot water flow.
    Similarly, if the hot water meter stops when the reed switch is in the OFF state, the reed switch will remain in the OFF state as long as there is no hot water flow.
  3. When a pulse relay model GT-ER2DM (manufactured by us) is used, the outgoing pulse of the meter can be output as a stable one-shot (approx. 0.1 second) no-voltage contact.
    It is recommended to use model GT-ER2DM for input to computers, data loggers, etc. (For details, refer to model GT-ER2DM.
    (For details, refer to the specifications for model GT-ER2DM.) Also, when inputting directly to a central monitoring panel, data logger, etc., make sure that the input specifications of the central monitoring panel or other equipment match the specifications of the above-mentioned transmitter unit.

Systematized measuring instrument symbol

If the instrument has a pulse output function, a specific number is indicated after the "R" mark.
The first "26" indicates the pulse signal system, which may differ depending on the manufacturer.
The second half "13" indicates the output pulse rate.
